Abstract

The Indonesian economy is currently experiencing the Vuca era (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity). Vuca describes environmental situations that are uncertain, fluctuating, complex, difficult to predict and the truth of reality is subjective. This has a great impact on women as MSME actors. Based on existing data findings from various sources, the percentage is 99.9%, apparently 50% is managed by women. The method we use in this research is a reference study with a variety of literature. Based on findings from various sources, the role of women as economic actors facing the Vuca era is to have adequate vision, understanding, clarity and competence in their field. So that the three roles of women, namely traditional roles, transitional roles and contemporary roles can run optimally. Women have to change from where they start doing business due to economic factors to how to create and develop a business in the midst of increasingly advanced technology
